i was riding a horse on my own for the first time (never even done it in real life!). a friend, who clearly was an expert in horse-riding, was riding another horse. he was really calm but i was terrified. our horses sped between cars on a busy road and funny mine was leading. i felt like i was going to fall so i held on real tight to the horse’s hair.
after a while, we stopped. my friend told me i shouldn’t feel too frightened. as horses were sensitive creatures, i should find myself able to connect with it if i only tried. so, before we moved on, i whispered to my horse, “horsey, just slow down, okay? i’m not used to this and i’m so afraid.”
to my surprise, the horse turned its head and said, “alright. you are safe with me. you don’t need to feel afraid.” i was so shocked i nearly fell. But it lived up to its words and our journey was surprisingly comfortable!
i then arrived at my old highschool to attend my classes. it turned out i was still a student.
